Brantingham Village is a designated conservation area. As such, we are always on the look out for willing volunteers to help maintain its natural beauty and charm. These activities can include regular stream and pond maintenance, litter picks and general tidying around the village. If you would like to help out, please click here to register your interest. Please note that anyone under 16 will need the supervision of a parent or guardian. |
NOTICESERYC Community Governance ReviewAs some of you may be aware, East Riding of Yorkshire Council is currently undertaking a community governance review of all the parish areas within the county. Community governance reviews consider whether Parish Councils in the area should be created, dissolved or altered (this can be in relation to the boundaries of a Parish, the number of Councillors on a Parish Council or the name of the Parish). The draft recommendation for Brantingham Parish is that the number of councillors be reduced from 9 to 7 and that the boundaries to the East of the Parish be amended, reducing the size of the Parish. This means taking significant areas such as Stockbridge Road, Cave Road, Mill Lane West, Glenrock Park, Golf Links Drive, Haven Garth and Chancery Court Full details can be seen in the summary Draft Recommendations Document here.
It is IMPORTANT to share your opinion by completing the ERYC consultation form (page 2) Click here for ALL LINKS Dale Road, Brantingham will be closed from the junction with Riplingham Road to Church Cottage from 16th October 2023 to enable tree cutting to be carried out in safety.
